Shakespearean Half-Term Camp:

After great success, Aequitas Theatre Company once again presents a Shakespeare course for ages 14-18. Over a period of 5 days, students will be introduced to the basic study of performing Shakespeare. We start with the study of the text, looking at line and rhythm, and anomalies such as the caesura. We will look at the history required to research roles and develop acting techniques to cope with each element studied. The course will culminate in a performance of several scenes. Step up Teens will fund several places. To apply for the funded places email: generalmanager@aequitastheatre.co.uk.

By the end, students will be familiar with approaching Shakespeare's text in performance.

Dates: Monday 30 May till Friday 3 June 2016

Time: 10-4pm, Friday evening performances

Price: £195 per student

Location:
Ham Youth Centre
Ham Close, off Ashburnham Road
